I purchased a lot with two AG dolls last week. When they arrived, Josefina is missing half of her wig She is pre-mattel judging by her eyelashes (soft and brown). I was wondering if I sent her to the doll hospital if she might be able to get another PM head. Does anyone know the status on these heads?

Also, does anyone know of a good replacement Josefina wig in case I decide to try re-wigging her?

I bought my Josephina at AGPlace in Chicago about 5 years ago. She has a paper wrist tag that indicates doll made in Germany. I'm assuming that information is correct. However, could it be possible that AG used an old tag on her, and Josephina really was manufactured in China??

Although Josefina was researched and developed by Pleasant Co., she is technically post-Mattel. She was always produced in China. I doubt that the AG Hospital would be much help, since when they replaced my AGT4's eyes to cure silver eye, the new eyes came with the new style lashes.

There are long black wigs without bangs on several doll supply sites, including Tallina's. I'll go out to my bookmarks, then come back with the links.
